Gm c5r block & callies crank
I have for sale my GM C5R Block & Callie crank. This block & crank were going into my 2000 Katech FRC before I bought my 2014 Z/28. I have over $10,000 in what you see in these pictures! I will take $7,000.00. The block casting number is 12480030. This is the same block GM used in the C5R Corvette racing program. "American LeMans." The specifics of this block are below. If you are reading this post you most likely know how special this block & Crank is!!! Please email me with all questions. I am happy to talk to any interested persons via phone as well.
Chevrolet Performance Bowtie aluminum C5R Gen III engine blocks are the same blocks that were used in the LeMans 24-hour endurance racing C5R Corvettes and are intended for maximum-effort competition engines. They have the same production external dimensions and bosses; the primary difference of this block to the Gen III production blocks is the siamesed water jacket, which allows engine builders to build engines with larger bore sizes. The Chevrolet Performance Bowtie aluminum C5R Gen III engine blocks feature a cylinder deck height of 9.240 in. and use a dry, pressed-in liner similar to other GM Racing aluminum small blocks. Other features include steel billet main bearing caps, wet sump style oiling, and high-strength A356 aluminum that utilizes a modified T7 heat treatment. You are guaranteed durability, reliability, and high performance by using one of these Chevrolet Performance Bowtie aluminum C5R Gen III engine blocks.

Unrelated, but how are you enjoying the Z/28? Looks to be my next purchase if I have my way.
GLWS, that would be a stellar platform to build off of at a great price point.

The Z/28 is an amazing car if you intend on using it for what it was designed for! I bought the Z/28 for one reason. "Racing" I find the Z/28 more fun to drive than my 2010 Z06! It's like the Porsche GT3 RS of the Chevrolet line up. Jeff
