HRE 543 Wheels
I have a set of HRE 543 wheels that I want to sell. They are a 3-piece wheel with polished rims and chrome centers. They are the factory sizes and offsets. I took them apart because one of the chrome center pieces is sightly discolored, so I thought I would go ahead and rebuild/refinish the wheels. That was about 3 years ago. They sit in my garage doing nothing but taking up space and collecting dust. One front wheel got a rock stuck between the caliper and inner rim; it gouged the aluminum. It could be fixed on a lathe, replaced, or ignored. It isn't hurting anything and you don't see it when the wheel is mounted. The rims are straight, I had them repaired at a wheel shop in Sacramento when I was still motivated to do this project.
You will probably want to replace all of the nuts and bolts that hold them together. I found a manufacturer who makes the correct size/grade and I think it was going to cost me around $400 for all of the hardware.
I will include the TPMS sensors, but I'm not sure if the batteries are still good. They worked when I pulled the wheels.
These wheels were $1750 each when they were new. I would take $1,000 for the set and I'm pretty firm on that as of right now; I will see what kind of feedback I receive from this post. I think for around $1,000 you could make these look new, including that inner rim and the hardware. I'm in Northern California and would be willing to drive an hour or so to meet someone, but would rather not ship them.
