I needed a solid panel targa top for my 99. I have been trolling for months now with no luck, seems I missed all the good deals by a matter of a few hours. A couple of weeks ago Gene posted he had three tops for sale. We exchanged a few e-mails and yesterday it arrived. He sent me a top that came off some sort test mule. It was painted a Caddy pearl white. It's a shame I'm going to have to repaint it. We've all seen this color on caddies. Seems this car also had a caddy engine and a few other components for the XLR. I guess Gene has the rest of the car.

The frame, weather stripe, latches and liner are all like brand new. It dropped right in and fits perfectly. Now all I need to do is get it painted.

He saved me a bundle, with paint and shipping it'll be less than half the cost a primed top GM sells.
