Re: CARAVAGGIO HARDTOP FOR CONVERTIBLE C5 (Z06CONVSC)
Ok, let me get this straight.
You just spent 50k on a Z06.
You then spent 6k chopping off the top and converting it to a convertible.
And now you want to save a couple hundred bucks by buying a used hardtop?

Finding a used hardtop will save me about 2 months of waiting to have a new one built....it's not the few hundreds of savings I'm thinking of. A conversion from a hardtop to a convertible is over 10K.

If you still have the top that was cut off I can custom build a removable hardtop for you or if not I have one more left I can build. I have done several a few Forum members have my top. Here are a few pics...
Full Top Version
This is a Targa Version, uses a removable Targa Top from a Coupe.

I still have the factory hardtop....you have a good idea using the original top but I don't want to have to remove the convertible lid to change tops. As you know with the removeable hardtop the conv lid stays on.
Thanks for the info.
