335/30/18 PILOT SPORTS brand new zero miles
335/30/18 PILOT SPORTS brand new zero miles.
The Tire Rack sells these for $237 per tire plus shipping cost. A new pair would cost about $490 shipped.
This brand new pair can be had for $380 shipped.

What size rims would I need to fit these tires? I am assuming it would have to be tubbed. Those are some phatties!

Is it for certain that tubbing is required to fit these bad boys on? Appreciate the help and thanks.

Re: 335/30/18 PILOT SPORTS brand new zero miles (C54FUN)
Tubbing is NOT required if you have a wheel with proper offset. I have CCW's (18x11.5) and previously used the 335/30/18 Michelin Pilot Sports with no tub. Sticks out a bit, but looks :reddevil

Re: 335/30/18 PILOT SPORTS brand new zero miles (SvenOdin)
I have Mallet 396s (18X 11) which are offset cause they stick out. What I don't know is if there is enough offset? Also how does the height of these compare with the 295/35 Pilot Sports? Can anybody help be here as I would like to buy these tires? Thanks.

Mallett site says their mini tub option "Allows use of 18" 335/345 tires". Not sure if I'd try it without the tub. Try giving them a call?

Re: 335/30/18 PILOT SPORTS brand new zero miles (mfrnka)
These 335/30/18's will fit:
Z06 18x10.5 wheel
Mallet/XMS 18x11
CCW/HRE/iForged/Kinesis etc... 10.5-12.5 widths.
John at CCW makes a 18x11.5 wheel that fits the C5 without tubbing. It sticks out of the wheel well just slightly but looks mean.
Micheline Pilot sports tend to run a bit narrower than other brands. An S02 Potenza is almost 1 inch wider in tread width compared to a pilot sport. The 335/30/18 is 26.1 inch tall. A 295/35/18 is 26.2 inches tall.
10.5 is as narrow as you can go...an 11inch width or larger is recommended.
These tires are still up for grabs :smash:

Re: 335/30/18 PILOT SPORTS brand new zero miles (RCswish)
Thanks Guys, will give Mallet a call to be on the safe side. I'd really rather not tub the car if I don't have to. I do have 18X11s at the rear.
Appreciate all your responses and help.
RC, will get back to you once I have talked with Mallet.
