programmer help

I've been reading and looking on the forum about programmers. I have a 98 auto vert and the only programmer i've found 4 my car is the Hypert Prog 3. In reading, looks like know 1 likes this programmer 2much. So, what's another way to tune or program the 98. NOT GOING INTO MOTOR. Just want a few extra HP'S. MY MODS 2DATE: K&N AIR FILTER/CORSA TOURING EXH--NO X PIPE/GETTING 342 gears installed.

hold out. the VHP 97-98 tuner is just about ready.

Let me know when the tuner is ready. I still have my stock 273 gears. The installer found out you can't install 342 gears in a 273 carrier/that sux's.

but, you can buy an entire rear unit with the gears already in it from ecklers. and probably from some other places as well.

Dyno-Tech (a Forum vendor) can do 3 series gears in a 2.73 case.
