rev-limiter problems
I have been setting all rev-limiters in ls1 edit high at 7500rpms, and trying to have it shift at 7000rpms, but it hits rev-limiter at 6800rpms. No misfires encountered and no check engine light on. This is an a4 with a 3500sy yank converter. Not sure if its edit,pcm or other issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You changed both tables then? By gear and by temp? I've read where other people have had this problem. I'll have to see if I can dig up the info. That's winding that motor pretty tight. I'm assuming you have quite a bit done to it?

I am able to set shift points below 6800rpms and shifts fine. When I try to set a shift point at say 6900rpms and rev-limiter set at 7500rpms,the engine at wot hits a rev-limit at 6800rpms. My engine is a forged bottom end and cammed with heads. Sorry for the late reply.
