I am getting ready to add a few things on top of what I have. Here is the list of things I have going:
VORTEK Intake
1030 GM TB
TB Bypass
LS6 Intake
B&B Headers
BORLA XR-1 racing system
RANDOM TECH High Flow Cats
I am going to be putting all of this on with the exception of the VORTEK intake in a couple of weeks.
Any idea what I can see in HP gains? TORQ?
I have a PREDATOR Tuner and was thinking of having a tune written. do you think that it would be sufficient?
I also thought of DYNO tuning, but I am getting ready to ship the car and was interested in knowing if this would screw up the tune with battery (posi) off for a month?
Disconnecting your battery will not lose your tune. I don't know much about the Predator so I can't help you with that. I'm sure someone else can chime in and help out.
The TB bypass will five you 0 hp, the big TB (1030) will not give you any more HP without H&C or FI/NI, Vortec and Headers/exhaust will give you 15-20 before a tune, 20-30 with predator tune, and a scan tune w/edit software should get you 30-50 HP. A scan tune consists of a 20-30 minute drive using logging software. Analyzing the results and then tuning/edit the PCM. When you use Forced Induction,NI, or a dedicated drag car, then the dyno tune is best.
