WTF is wrong?
My 98 has a bad misfire in cyl#7 changed the coil, plugs, wires that did'nt fix it, and all the grounds look fine! The car also backfires! What the hell is wrong?

yah thats not good when a shop starts replacing thing without knowing why! 
I would hope that they plugged it in to a scaner and tested the ignition first, and a leak down wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Dont wait
Go to a local parts store (Autozone, Pep-Boys, Napa) but a compression tester and do it your self. Its very easy.......why wait till monday when you can check that..........I see a bad ring on the piston.....Blow By
