on my 04 6 speed w/ headers/exhaust/intake will a predator
1) allow me to turn off the rear 02s, thus stopping the codes associated with headers
2) remove the cags light and 1-4 shift
3) align the speedo with my non stock tire sizes
4) add any hp with 91 octane
5) allow the car to be returned to stock for warranty work
I have heard 2 different things, predator says you can and the forums say you can't. I am hoping someone here can say for sure as I am not sure how much you can trust the salesman
Ask the salesman what software revision supports deletion of the rear O2 sensors on a 2004 Corvette. My 2004 Predator is rev. 1.11 and it has no such option.
Save your money and the pain, buy HPtuners, if you have access to a laptop. Predator works ok, they just screw the GM guys in comparsion to the Ford folks. As always YMMV. Jeff

Afraid I
I was a long time Predator user. Got good results with it. Its OK but at some point you are probably going to outgrow it.
I also hated the service. They do screw the GM guys in comparison to the Ford guys.
The Ford guys have logging capabilities with the Predator. The GM guys do not.
The most popular mail order Predator tuner, RWTD can very be difficult to get ahold of and his site goes down without warning for several weeks on end. And when it does come back up it is available for the Ford guys weeks before it becomes available to the GM guys.
Tuning changes along several RPM ranges cannot be made by the end user with a Predator. They can with HP Tuners. And thats just one advantage of several.
In short, HP Tuners was not available when I bought the Predator. But had it been there is no question I would have gone HP Tuners knowing what I know now.

same here. All that was available was LS1 Edit (which was so new back then that nobody had figured it out yet) and the Predator.
