I am getting a c1233 and c1214 code along with my service abs, traction controll warning coming on after I over 20 mph.
After researching the forum I checked to make sure my wheel speed circuit is connected--it is. However, I cannot find any information about the C1214 code. Where is the "SOL Valve Relay"?
the relay is built into the ebcm[control unit on hydraulic pump].it's not serviceable.you would have to replace the unit.there are 2 fuses that power this puppy up.both are under the hood,1 is a 40a the other is a 10a.1214 is set if system voltage is below 8 volts.if both fuses are good and the ground is clean and tight, sounds like the ecu tanked.

Good Info. I will check the fuses tonight. I am fighting the replacement of the EBCM! I am hoping it is something else. If nothing else I will know I tried everything else before sucumbing to the replacement of this horendsly expensive part.
I have cleaned the grounds, and the inside of the connections. I have also cleaned the wheel sensor connections since one of the codes indicated the right front wheel circuit was open. Both fuses are good. The battery was bought on 4/04 so it should be good. At this point I am off to the dealer unless anyone has more suggestions.
I will post and provide the results from the delear so this will help in the future. It is my opion that the EBCM is replaced by dealers when sometimes it is not at fault. Hopefully we can all build a database here that help us fix it ourselves--or at least deduce everything else before replacing this $$$ part!
I got a second opinion from my local garage and after several days of testing he finally determined that the ebcm had to be replaced as well as the wheel sensor. $1700 for both parts & labor. 80,000 miles
At least I tried everything else myself before bending over and replacing the module.
