Default Predator Gear Ratio question

I just bought a Predator and read every thread on the subject but now I'm confused about my gear ratio. The predator shows 3.42 but after reading on the subject it sounds like that might be because of a software bug (??) I have a 01 A4 coupe. What is the stock Gear ratio? 3.42 or maybe 2.73 How do I determine this? I want to adjust gear pressure and shift time. Any advise would be appreciated.

Default Thanks Mike

Wow that was quick. I have really learned a lot from your threads Mike, Thanks

Do I need to change the Predator setting now showing 3.42 or does it matter? You wrote earlier that this may not matter and is just a bug. I think you recommend +5 shift psi and -5 shift time.

Chris... please add your C5's specifics to your profile - or include this info in your posts.
There are some specifics with certain years of C5's.

If you have a factory available rear axle ratio, and your C5 A4 is a 1999 - 2003 and the model Predator you own is the 1999-2003 excluisive model, then ignore the rear axle ratio default value that shows on your Predator. There's no need to change it since the 1999-2003 exclusive model Predator has a gear scaling bug anyways.

I'm obviously new to this site and bought my first Vette a few months ago. I updated my profile. Thanks for the advise!!!

Since I have an 01 A4 and exclusive 99- 03 Predator I guess I don't need to change it. I can't find gearing info. in glove box, I can't get under my car now so I did the drive test as indicated in your info. I got 3050 RPM in 3rd gear at 75 MPH. I guess I have the 3.15 Gear. Is that possible for a car I thought was stock when I bought it?? Maybe this "performance ratio"?? I'll check under the car when I can.
