Default Question on code 0068?

Changed stock intake and tb on vette in sig with fast 90 w/NW. Car started and idled down as before, drove it for 10 miles and it went into power reduction mode and dic said service active handling. It did this twice and I cleared it with my crane handheld, code 0068. I found out what the code means on gearchatter.com, but can anyone explain in simple english? I have not reattached the passenger valve cover vent hose to the bridge, could this be the cause? I posted same question in c5 tech, sorry if I posted in the wrong place. Any input would be appreciated.

pulled off the fast and checked for a leak, found one at the map sensor. cleaned map nipple and manifold top with alcohol, replaced grommet (torn) with a viton marine replacement and used sensor safe ultra black to stick the sensor to the manifold. No more leak, but still codes 0068 on crane handheld, power reduction and service active handling immediately appear. could this be caused by the stock maf now not calibrated to the larger NW tb?
