Default 2 Bar Map part number...

I finished putting my blower on, I got my injectors, HPtuner is in the mail...

Now I just have to make sure I order the right Map sensor.

I did a few searches and have found this part number
GM 2Bar Map - 16040609

But, I think thats the "larger body style"
The 3 bar I use on my Honda looks like this

When looking at the LS6 manifold swap pics from this site it seems that the LS1 uses a smaller style sensor?

So I went to gmpartsdirect.com and looked up a one from a Cobalt SS thinking that if a newer style (smaller) sensor was in use that would have one. I got this part number

12580698 (39 bucks)

Then I found that MSD sells our map sensors as well (I think bosch actually makes all of them)

they list

MAP Sensor, 2-Bar
PN 2312
Compact Model, PN 23121

I guess either the Cobalt SS or the (compact) MSD 2 bar will work? Right?

Thanks!

Now I am reading that the Cobalt SS 12580698 may be a 2.5 bar map?

Can you provide links where it mentions it possibly being 2.5bar?

I'm also interested in the 3 bar MAP. Also, which programs allow the tuning for a 2 or 3 bar MAP. Is there a way to get LS1 Edit to do it?

EFIlive or HPTuner custom OS's will do it. Or... there's a way to use a 2 or 3bar map w/o the custom os. It just means cutting the map values in half (2bar) or more when referenced in the tune. I'm not familiar w/ edit so I'm not sure if it could get to all that needs to be changed.

I'm pretty sure the GTP uses a 2 Bar Map. I've heard of people leaving the old MAP in place and just T-ing in the vacuum line.
