There is a guy named Brian Volper, not sure on spelling but he is mobile and does tuning in Milwaukee using the dyno @ Borchardts. There is also a place just south of GB , a truck stop that has a dyno jet. Brian has also driven up there to tune as well. Brian is out of Chicago so you may pay to have him drive very far north.
Contact See5 on the CF. He can provide more info on the dyno and Brian.
If you end up dynoing in Milwaukee, fill your tank in GB. We have the RFG gas in this area.
I'm having Melrose Headers installed so I don't know what will happen with codes. Using a shop that does alot of vette work, hoping they know how to deal with codes
I've got a 6spd 01 coupe that is stock. Just added corsa pace car and black wing and hurst shifter though....
Check with the shop that is doing the install, see if they at least have scan log software. If so, do a 20-30 minute run with the software running, they can tell if you have any shortcomings and what they are. The usually have to do with idle, acel/decel and timing or AF ratio's. If they are noticiably off, you can send this info to a good tuner with your PCM and they can program a respectable tune for you. With Overnight Fed EX, you can send it anywhere in the US and have it back within 3 day.
Once you get it tuned, you need to put at least 200 mile on the car to get the maximum benefit.
