Default Using LS1 edit

Has anyone actually purchased a single LS1 edit tuning license for there vette and then been involved in the tuning of the car?

An LS1 edit tune with one of the LS1 dealers is $1000 in Australia. This is everytime you take it in for a tune. It does not get cheaper.

If I buy a license for $450 US, I can then have my own tuner do the work and from then on each time will (only?) cost me direct dyno time (~ $300).

I specifically ask people here with first hand knowledge of LS1 edit and how easy it is to use - how long does it take for an experienced tuner to pick up and become familiar with. I need a retune after a cam/head swap.

Thanks guys.

I suggest HP Tuners. It is far superior to LS1 Edit.
