HELP?!? tune needed?!?
So I just bought this 2001 LS1 vette in Feb. and did a baseline dyno run it laided down 302rwhp. Then I installed a K&N FIPK system, Borla X-pipe, and Borla Stinger exhaust. Sounds good and I can feel midrange power improvments but when I returned to the dyno it only produced 312rwhp!!! Do I need a tune? I know the stock exhaust is not as restrictive as some systems I've seen (fox bodys) I am just being unrealistic in expecting the full manufactuers claimed hp.

Sounds about right. The catback and X-pipe bought you between zip and 3 HP. A tune may get you another 5-10....maybe. Kinda depends on what your holdback is.
