just curious if any one with a hypertech can give me some baseline shift points to start out with and what should I set firmness at The controller was for free I only have some bolt on,s B&Bprt,s, Ziptie mod with K&N 160 stat any help woul be appreciated
1-2 shift +2 mph=6242rpm 2-3 shift + 3 mph = 6195 rpm
3-4 shift +3 mph =6120rpm. This works best for me with a 3.15 axle. I have exhaust and intake mods and it pulls stronger than stock at the higher rpm range. Remember to bump up your rev limiter 200 rpm also. These engines make peak horsepower around 5600. When I had mine on the dyno, the peak horsepower was between 5700-5800. You may just want to leave it alone. Take it to the track and jack around with a few different settings and see whatcha think... Good Luck

If you are going to take to the drags I used to run 1 > 2 at +3 mph
2 > 3 at +6 mph and I left 3 > 4 alone since you will cross the finish
line in 3rd gear. I put the shift hardness at +100 %. I ran 24 lbs in the
stock runflats and do not power brake it just floor it.
