trouble code p1416
I have a 2002 Z06 the other day the check engine lamp came on I have a friend who works for Ford and he pulled a code 1416 which he says is a secondary air injection fault code bank two. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks Colleen

The most common reason for P1416 is a stuck passenger side A.I.R. check valve. Replacing the check valve is a pain because it is not located by the exhaust manifold like the one on driver side, it is behind the engine and most people have to remove the intake manifold to replace it.
Some people have fixed the problem by removing the hose going to it and spraying in brake parts cleaner followed by WD-40 and force it through with compressed air.
