Default staring problem

i turn on my car early in the morning, it fires up right away, and if i turn off my car and turn it back on right away it turns on right away, but if it sits for a couple of minutes it takes like 6 cycles before it turns on, and when it idles its smooth for about 2 seconds then you can feel an imbalance, smooth for 2 sec. then the imbalance again, any suggestions?

Don't know about the hard to start issue, but the imbalance sounds like a cylinder or two is missing. Could be spark or fuel (injector) related. Pull the plugs and see if any are different from the rest.

To check for spark, you could put an inductive timing light on the plug wires, one at a time and see which one shows intermittant firing...

i was looking at replacing the spark plugs soon...do you think the wires should go with them? i'm hoping its a related issue with the misfiring
