Default Roadrunner question

If the Roadrunner uses a USB to interface with the PC, do you still need to purchase the scanner for EFI live also? I see packages for the Roadrunner with EFI tunner and scanner lic.. But it doesn't come with the scanner. So it makes it a little confusing.

yes you would need to buy
Roadrunner hardware=$599
Roadrunner license=$199
Efilive scan only tool=$249

you'd need to run the roadrunner hardware full time in your vehicle.

We are trying to get Roadrunner to work ....... so far it can connect but not sync ? And no response from Craig at Moates so far, we have both emailed and made a thread at moates forum. I have to say that the support so far suck and their product also suck since it doesnt work.
No install documents ... nowhere is it mentioned that you need a usb<-> serial driver at your computer when you find it at www.moates.net Roadrunner isnt listed on that download link. When you analyse the usbdrv its made for win98 and win 2000 and not certified for WinXP . The company that did the usbdriver has a new WinXP certified usbdriver why doesnt Moates use that one instead ? Why isnt the usbdrv included in Roadrunner ? or at least at the same download page as Roadrunner and some kind of install documentation would be really nice.
