I have no knowledge specific to this particular company. However, these plug & play performance "chips" are usually resistors which alter the IAT signal seen by the computer. The components are worth a few cents a piece, so these companies are more than happy to sell them for about $20 (once you add in the inflated shipping & handling charges)
Considering there is nowhere to install a chip on CAN equipped vehicle, I'm not sure where this thing even goes. Does it plug into the OBDII port? And 35+ hp, maybe at the flywheel.....but highly doubt it.
Hi this is obvious just the IAT resistor mod---All it does is put a resistor on one of the IAT wires that will make the computer think it is 56 degrees all the time. If I remember correctly --if the IAT temp i s below that and the diff between the water temp and the IAT temp is over a certain amount for so long--it will throw a code---I forgot the resistor size-it is on one of the Corvette "how to" forums--but you can buy 5 of them for .99 cents at Radio Shack
Does it work ??? on a hot day it will add timing yes---45 HP ?? HELL NO !!!! It might add 5-8 HP at best---HOWEVER-- It can cause knock retard in our cars which will take timing OUT !!!!! and make it actually worse---or have less timing---On a cold day---no difference---I tested this device and dynoed at several diff. settings--Some of them are adjustable--- Pretty much decided on a knock retard system it is a waste as most of the time the timing I put in was taken out by the KR system. At the most I added 2 or 3 degrees without any KR , which added 5 HP---on a day about 85-90*I wouldn't pay over $5 for one or research the corvette how to site and it will give you the radio shack resistor size-

Probably too good to be true.
Mike
but there are "chips" sold for the LS1 that go inline to the PCM module wiring harness. Although -technically- one doesn't change an actual integrated circuit... it is an active circuit with a few IC's that interrupts and alters data to make the PCM call up different timing and AFR settings.
Granted, these non-adjustable non-programmable curcuits are hit or miss... but they do exist.
As far as I'm concerned, it is an insult to ya'll's intelligence to even try to sell those things. I can only figure that it's probably somebody trying to sell these things in the spare bedroom for extra cigarette money, because someone dumber than they are told them it was a good idea. To comprehend that low of a level of intelligence boggles the mind.
This guy sells these things all day long. Most people end up blindly smiling. He has 23 negative feedbacs from poeple who point out it's junk. He gives all of them a negative feedback becase he has a money back refund policy.
That means it's ok to pull a scam on people if you pay back the people that catch you, but they are wrong to point out you have a scam because you paid them back.

What a joke!
Yeah, that's the stealership philosophy- break it off into people until they squeal loud enough.
In this case of a programmer chip that is to resolve all our tuning issues to exact the maximum horsepower and fuel economy out of the vehicle is bogus. The only way to set up a car properly is on a dyno and with a very knowledgeable tuner using professional equipment. A $10-$50 do all fix all part for all cars and all applications, is snake oil.
If you buy into it, I have a bridge for sale in Arizona and ocean beach front property to sell.
Note that this "factory" accepts every type of payment except a credit card. Interesting way to keep YOUR MONEY.
One of his customers is asking other customers to contact him, as he intends to hire an attorney to go after this guy. (Scroll thru the feedback comments, as one other vette person recommended.
