Default LS1 Edit HELP! Comm Error?

Have an 02 Z06 that we just put TSP Longtubes on. Fired up the LS1 edit to disable the rear 02 sensors, it says connection established reading VIN then continually flashes "comm err: attempting to re-establish connection with PCM". On the dash it flashes "reduced power mode, service traction system, etc". Anyone know what to do?

FWIW we are using a serial to USB connection and we already made sure the COMM ports matched up.

Hmmmm strange-----did you do any welding during the instalation ???--It is a good idea to disconnect the battery when welding ---Could have blown a fuse somwhere---check O2 sensor fuses--and plugs---wiring--then disconnect battery for 1-2 hours--try again---------

Pull the PCM fuse, put it back in, and try it again.

there are only certain brands of USB to SERIAL converters that will work properly with LS1 edit.

2 that I know of are the KEYSPAN and the BELKIN models.
