Default Is it worth running 2 wide bands?

I have a LC-1 installed in place of my narrow band 02 on my drivers side (before the X pipe). The question is should I spend the extra $ on a second one to monitor the passenger side? I have the LC-1 perminately installed, simulating a narrow band and don't want to go throught the hassel switching it from side to side.

What are the thoughts on monitoring both banks, it it a good idea?

The PCM averages out the fuel trims, so my suggestion, unless you're a perfectionist, is to use just one. You've got it on the normally lean side of the engine, so if the driver's bank is okay, the other side is too.

Agreed.

I could see having bungs on both sides perhaps but the complexity of two sensors is a bit much. The really hard core engine dyno guys have on on each cyl for R&D.

I have the ECS fuel system so I'm not sure if there is one side that tends to be lean.

How do your fuel trims look comparing the DSide to the PSide ?

If you are datalogging you can log the WB and the B1S1 & B2S1 O2 sensor voltages and compare those voltages between the two sides.

If the fuel trims are fairly close cruising around and both O2 sensors voltages look ok at WOT then I would think that you are good to go

Then the solution is simple. Run it on the other side with the same tune and see if the results are the same.
