Scan Tool

I'm looking for advice on what do buy for a scan tool for my '03 Z06.

What do you all use for a laptop based scan tool? Just your average run of the mill OBD2 scanner? scantool.net?

EFI Live or HP Tuners, best scan tools you can buy and tuning as an added feature

I you just want a run of the mill scan tool, its free. It is built into your car. If you want all the bells and whistles , I have HPT. But just to pull codes, that is built into your car already.

I'm looking for something that I can use to log data on a laptop. Things like fuel trims, O2, timing, etc. Looks like EFI Live will work for me. I'll do some reading on it. Thx
