Tune Only Question
Can a tune to a stock C5 improve performace? I have a stock 99 C5 with no mods but have a local tech who does tunes. Wondering if worth the money if no mods on the car?

I guess no one answered your question. I did mine with just a new airbox and I picked up 10-15 hp. The cheapest mod you can do is replace the cover on the air filter with a ZO6 airbox cover. The opening is larger which lets more air in. Then I would do the tune. The even cheaper alternative is to make the opening larger in yours. Check old posts on the various types of cutouts people have done here. I can't imagine a new/used zo6 cover would cost more than $20.
