Default start up problem

I have a 2002 Z06 and I just did a FAST 92mm and Ls2 90mm Throttle body on it and now when I start it up it revs up to about 1500rpm then dies down to 750 rpm real quickly letting out a small back fire. I scanned it and pulled no codes I have about 500km on it so the computer should have addjusted for it by now..... If any one can help me out it would be greatley appreciated!!
Thanks!!

You need to get the idle tuned for the larger manifold/Tbody--as a matter of fact you should get a complete tune--The computer can only self adjust so much and your mod requires a bit more tuning--typically you need to adjust the "desired airflow table"--get your LTFT's back in line close to "0"--I'm sure they are way off--Also I would dial in the "open loop AFR normal" table as your commanded AFR won't match your actual now--probably need to richen up this table in the start up ranges as well as the VE table in the start-up ranges too---

Thanks! I did just book in for a tune but they are so busy cant get in for 3 weeks..... Do you think it would still be ok to drive around with out the new tune still haven't pulled any codes on it so I think it should be OK what do you think? maybe just not as much HP and bad fuel millage untill I get the tune in? I had it tuned when I did headers and cold air

Yes it will be fine to drive until then--but i would still be safe and NOT do any WOT runs until you get it tuned -----Best always to error on the side of caution--
