Default Plug Wires?

I just got a 02 zo6 that has been setting in a garage for several years and just changed out all of the fluid's and have tried to change the plugs but I can't get the plug wires off of the plugs. Can some one either direct me or tell me how to accomplish this? Thanks Rusty

Try a plug wire puller wrench. It also might help to wiggle them back-and-forth a little to break them loose.

Default Plug wires

Thanks for the response, I bought a plug wire puller yesterday and it was no help on the bigger head of the plug wire that goes in to the aluminum shield. I was afraid to pull on the wire itself in fear of striping it from the rubber head that goes in to that shield. I have twisted, wiggled and pulled as hard as I could on the rubber head and not the wire itself. Am I weak or is there a technic? Or do I just take it to my local dealer? Rusty

I've never had that problem. You may have to destroy the wires to change the plugs.

If you do rep the wires,I use Taylor 84244.
