Power Programmers & Performance Tuners?

Power Programmers & Performance Tuners?
What do you guys use if any at all? Are they any good? I was told i can gain up to 30RWHP, even though i don't believe this, i wanted to know what you guys think?

I didn't see any details about your car,but I can tell you my experience with a Diablosport Predator on my 02Z.The only perf mods on my car is a VRB2 and a Halltech honeycomb MAF screen.
I installed the performance tune( 93 octane tune) and tuned out CAGS,COT,adjusted timing,adjusted the fans and got my LTFT's in line.I would say,as an estimate that I got 10-15 more HP & TQ.
Bear in mind,that is just an estimate.The car is more driveable and I am very pleased,plus I like the fact that I make adjustments anytime or go back to the facto tune easily & quickly.
The Diablo folks have a good web site and good forum usage.
I don't have any experience with other hand-held tuners.Most of us know that a custom tune is best,but unless you drag/track your car,these hand-helds are plenty good enough,IMO.

Yep, do a search.. I've posted several times that I've had excellent results with the Predator!

I have a 04 Coupe, pretty stock right now but i will be putting a CAI pretty soon. I am thinking about getting the Hypertech Hyperpac because i can change my gear ratios with it and my friend who has a 98 BMW 740i claims that he got 50 more HP from it!!!
I i am pretty new with this kind of stuff here, how easy is are these things to use, can someone who has never used one just use it.From what i have heard Power Programmers just ask you questions and do everything for you, is that true?
