I Need some help
Before I call the Dealer, I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction
as I've found out there are
some very knowledgeable people on this forum.
Here is my issue
Stored the 03 last fall and added stabilizer to 3/4 tank of fuel
Doug at ECS did a mail order tune thru the winter and it was awsome
when I put the PCM back in in January.
I let my tag expire Jan 30 and relicensed it May 12 as I was out of the country.
Now it misses like crazy and throws code P0300
Which is a variable misfire, it doesn't miss all the time it is occurring randomly.
I just took it for a spin and it misfired
with popping on Deceleration even had a loud backfire under hard acceleration.
The MIL flashed the Check engine light for several seconds then went off.
Finally stayed on and the code was P0300 HC
Fuel Contamination??
Anyone have anything like this happen??
