so im getting my car a new trans, 3600 YANK converter, and rear diff. my installer uses HP TUNER software. hes going to be adjusting my shift points, for the new rear diff (3:42). what can he do with the motor? tuning? just a stock ls1 with vararam, and a cat back, x pipe. he motioned a full dyno tune, but i want to wait till i do headers, and cam first.
Hi Red! The proper tune is done with a dyno! I would put the car on the dyno and he can see for it is rich or lean ,you also have a good base line to start.
