check engine light on
I have an 02 c5. I put in a k&n air filter and the check engine light came on, I have turned it off several times with an obd 11, but it is now time to go through the local DEQ and it will not pass with the light on, does anyone know how to turn it off permanently?.Thanks, mike

need to get a tune and have your fueling adjusted correctly to get rid of the lean condition most likely being set by the CAI...
only way to do it...
you can keep clearing it, but it's going to keep coming back...
did you just put in a K&N drop-in replacement filter with the stock airbox, or did you install a K&N cold air intake?? if you installed their CAI, check all of your clamps from the air filter to the throttle body, make sure they're all TIGHT so there are no air leaks... the K&N intakes are known for loosening up after a bit...
