Old U7198 .CROM update needed
Before I send my old programmer off and spend $99, does anyone have an old saved copy of the .CROM file to update a Diablosport Predator model U7198?
When they went to the new Revision 9, they stopped supporting the earlier models.
I have the original release revision 1.03 and could use any of the updates listed below:
rev 2.10
rev 2.11
rev 2.12
rev 2.13

it is amazing
talked to my neighbor,
he is at a car show but will let me swap out tools this weekend. i believe he has 2.12 or 2.13. i can just trade u out to make it easier.i need to send one to mo.,don on earlier email.He is a GM tech. he can use yours.

you can not update those old revisions with downloadable crom revision update files... those old version tools had to be sent in to diablosport to get updated to the 2.xx revisions...
but even those old 2.xx revisions are not supported anymore - and you can not do downloadable internet updates on them either...
that's one of the main points of getting it updated to the new version of the tool...
you're only option/choice is to send it in to diablosport to get the $99 upgrade to the new version 9rXX revision tool...
then, you'd be able to do downloadable internet crom file revision updates for any future updates to the tool... plus you'll then be able to save/record data logs... you'll have new updated tunes available in it... it will have the new tune file format, making it easier to get custom tuning done for it... etc etc etc...
