Default Best tuner poll

Looking into purchasing a multi license tuner for my 2002 corvette and my brothers 2002 Sierra 4x4. Hope polling which is the easiest and most user friendly tuning sofware heard of several such as LS1EDIT, HPTUNER, and EFILIVE.

You can narrow the search down to EFIlive or HPT. Edit is antiquated.

We use EFI Live for the most part, but also HPTuners (has auto scaling for rear end ratios ) as both have pluses and minuses.

You can download FREE trial versions of both HP and EFILIVE--They allow you to read and open tables--make changes and familurize yourself with the teminology--I have EFILIVE and love it--however both are very good---I would play around with the trial versions-- and then talk to them both or to whomever you may buy it from
The biggest challlenge for a "newbie " tuner is having the ability to get your questions answered and to help you WHEN you get stuck-
Find someone who is always readily availible to help you-and who you feel comfortable talking to on the phone---Some who doesn't talk down to you and someone who is patient with your newbie issues--
I bought mine from Jesse Bubb

Honestly. You can go wrong with either of them. Just flip a coin.

If you want to be able to share ideas without having to translate from one package to another, find out what the folks run that you would most likely be sharing ideas with, and use what they use. Sharing ideas is just easier for both parties and and you will just hit the ground running alot faster.

Like most have said, they are both capable.
