Old school Hypertech programmer III question for my C5?
I've got an 02 C5 with tons of mods, heads/cam blah blah, stg 6 RPM 4L60E trans & their stg 3 3.90 diff etc.... I drag race this car 90% street 10%
My question is, i've got a buddy that has an Hyper tech power programmer III and i was thinking of using it to only change my shift points and maybe lower my fan temp switch a bit more but i want to make sure it doesn't screw with my custom Speed inc tune, or shift firmness etc.
All i want to do is raise my shift points a little bit higher for when i'm on motor and on spray.
What do you think?

and if you've got a custom tune done to the car already, you should just contact the person/shop that did the custom tune and have them update it for you....
not sure if you can just change those couple of specific things with that hypertech, and not touch anything else...
I know with a diablo predator you could, but not sure about theirs...

I'd have the tuner adjust the shifts but its 300 miles away, i thought i'd just see if this hand held would do it.
Thanks for the help
At WOT the shifts are commanded again by 2 things but now they are 1--MPH and 2 RPM-- I beleive the rev limit feature on the H-III only works for 6 speed cars and as a safety rev limiter for an A4 and won't adjjust WOT shifting properly--
