traded 03 targa a4 for 00 convert m6. 00 seems much less power than 03. Even in competition mode it will barrely squeek tires on power take off and a slight chirp shifting into 2nd at 5k rpm. no codes in dic. i need help if i encounter a nasty honda 4 cly!!!! car has 26k miles and is stock.(3.42 rears)

take it to a dyno and find out for sure. the 03 should have a little more power at the crank because of the intake and cam differences but going from an auto to a manual should more than make up for it in rwhp.
Like mentioned too many factors involved in trying to figure out why it may be down on power--
The usual suspects are---
clogged fuel filter
dirty air filter
over oiled CAI ( MAF wires are fouled)
ECM has switched over to the "low Octane" timing table
The Low oct table has about 1/2 the timing of the high table--The ECM counts occurances of knock--when it reaches a certain level it drops to the low table to prevent engine damage--
A bad tank of gas can cause this --To re-set the ECM back to the Hi-table you must empty out the tank and fill it wil at least 10 gallons of fuel--re-sets it back to high---
