C5 Tuning Experts
Hi Folks,
My car (2000 A4 Coupe) supposedly has a tune. So I have just been poking around with the compare function in HPT and a stock tune file looking for what was changed.
What has struck me as odd, is that the vehicle platform has been changed from GMT530 to Y.
(System-General Tab)
What possible reason would someone have to do that?
What does it affect?
The car only has a cold air intake and a catback exhaust. So I'm thinking I should just change everything back to stock calibration and see what happens.
I have the book by Malsic and he says don't screw with that setting, but doesn't say why.
Any insight?
There are some other mysterious changes that I'll ask about later.

Maybe someone changed the PCM/OS.
