Predator Shiftpoint correction
I ordered a 3.42 Differential for my Automatic C5 with a 2.7 diff in it.
My Vette has a Predatortune on it. Now im thinking how to change the shiftpoints.
I thinked i let it done by the Automatikspecialist. But what happens if ei change the tune with the predator after?
Does the Predator receive the new shiftpoints and add them to his settings. Or does he overwrite the new setting with the predatorsettings?
How do the Predator know wich dif i have in the corvette originaly? I mean there are two different differential original available for the vette originaly.

You should do a shift point speed correction for both PT and WOT-This is a huge chage on a 2.73 to 3.42 change---a minus 25% !!!
Most importantly on the WOT upshift and downshift points --if you don't make the adjustment it most likely won't shift at WOT and hit the safety rev limiter--
IF you get a mail-order tune to correct the shift points--you can still use your Predator--being that a speedo correction in not needed the Predator won't make any changes to your tune on the dif settings--and won't mess with your re-adjusted shift points as well--It will only address the engine parameters thet YOU changed and then any trans firmness changes you made---It will leave the shift points alone( the ones you had changed via mail order )
