I've been reading a little about the fix for this code (Transmission Fluid Pressure Manual Valve Position Switch ) and it seems weird that most everybody else who has had this code also had a drive ability issue. I parked my 99 corvette in the driveway one day and seen it was going to rain so I pulled it into the garage. When I started it the check engine light come on. I put the scanner on and got 2 codes, P1810 & 1810pd. I have no idea what the 1810pd is tho. Anyhow, I erased the code then a couple days later I took a test drive. The light went back on after about 2 miles but the car runs perfect and the trans hasn't skipped a beat. Its weird that most other guys have had huge drive ability problem. Mine has none.
Its got a fresh transmission and a nice precision converter about 400 miles ago. The trans was tuned by Speed Inc as well. Seems like most of these code are because of dirt or something in the valve body and switch. I also seen one guy who changed his radio and this issue arose. I believe I'm going to change the fluid, filter, sensor, and hope that's it.
Any suggestions would be great. My biggest issue is that it runs great and that's kinda throwing me for a loop.
