Before I pull the trigger on this "toy," I was wondering if anyone has purchased the unit and applied the Diablo tune to their Vette? With simple addons like a CAI and an exhaust system? Did it do anything for you? I like the idea of being able to return to stock in a heartbeat and I like the fact that I can apply it to my F150. I just have not heard or seen what the tune can do (same addons in the F150). I know that sending in the Computer module to a tuner can be done fo 125 a hit, but I like the idea of me being able to return my machine to stock at will.
What kind of results can I expect from a basically stock C5 (open air box with K&N and a GHL catback exhaust)?
Normally we see 10+ rwhp from our custom tuning. We will also take care of your transmission tuning (Automatic transmission shift properties OR the manuals will have skip shift removed).

Appreciate your info. My C5 is a 6 spd and I already have the skip shift fixed. 10 HP sounds like a lot, but at the end of the day, I probably would never feel it. So, you saved me some money and I can look for other Vette "stuff." Thank you!
It's also interesting to note that with the new Diablo InTune "flying off the shelves" of the retailers that no one has ventured to write on this forum what their results were or a review of the product.
What were the results of your one time use? The Trinity is supposed to be the primo unit that can tune any vehicle; why sell it? BTW, the InTune costs 389 shipped; just saying.

Sorry, mine is a "Trinity". They sell for $599.00. I got excellent results, just need the $ back for something else...

I just purchased the trinity, and installed the performance tune for the LS6 engine. (It was not specific for the corvette, but the same program was valid for a long list of cars...) I did several laps on a long track, and my finding is that the top speed on the track went down about 3-5mph with the tune, and that my lap times went up.
In addition, the "check engine" light started to glow at the end of the day.
So..unfortunately this product does not seem to do any good for the Corvette, but can of course be used to some other things as well, but I have found that some smartphone apps does that as good for the 1/100 of the price...

Appreciate the replies and like using my Sig P220's decocking lever I don't think I need to pull the trigger on the Diablo.
I had a Trinity in my C5Z and out of the box, the car felt stronger but when I dyno'd it, I found it was way rich on top, like 10:1. We easily corrected that with the tuner and got the fuel/air back to 11.7-12:1, I picked up nearly 20 hp. I got 389/383 rwhp/tq on a dynojet. Only mod is a CAI. I was told that the CAI does run rich WOT between 5-7K. I also adjusted the rev limit and cooling fans.
When I sold the car, I put the stock tune and intake back on it and sold the Trinity for $399 used and the Halltech CAI $180. I always return my toys to stock and come out much better financially.
What smartphone apps are available for the C5 ? I havnt found any?

As a longtime iphone user, I believe he is referring to dyno type apps like dynolicious(highly recommended for vehicle performance testing). Dynolicious is an excellent app similer to a gtech perfromance computer but actually outperformed it for less than $15.00.
There are no tuning IOS based apps that allow you to tune your ecm/tcm last time I checked.
Unless you are running poor quality fuel or an auto tranny (shift point change) or manual tranny (1-4 shift eliminator), I don't think so. Maybe the guy on this forum who sells tunes for the Predator might have a better answer. But from my research, you get virtually nothing for normal daily driving. If you're on the track on weekends and have more in your engine than stock, you might see some difference in elapsed time or speed at the end of the run. Personally, I like to enjoy driving and not beating my car at the track (no offense to the "trackers") and that's why I decided not to buy the InTune.
All I really want to do is pull the cags and turn the fans on earlier. Any tuning would be to just get the stock tune to not ping on this CA gas (91 octane)
