Mail Order Tune Question
I have a stock 01 coupe with a manual 6 speed will I get any benefit from a mail order tune as I have read it helps autos alot more. Thanks for your time.

True it will help an A4 more because there is a lot to do to the trans tuning that makes the car quicker without even touching the engine
However tuning helps any car--6 speed or auto-- That being said--without having the car and doing some data logging it's tough to get the best driveability and optimum power--At best they are giving you their best educated guess--Most mail order guys on the forum are very good though--The more modded your car is the tougher it is to guess- On a bolt on stockish engine they can get it pretty close---Even though its a computer controlled engine it still basically comes down to fuel and timing-- List all your mods-predicted driving use ---At worst if the tune is off you can simply mail the ECM back to hem and they can re-do it based on your feel and experience on what the car is doing
( pinging-surging-poor idle-lazy etc-----)
