Issues maintaining idle
Took the car in for the tune yesterday and got almost nowhere. The tuner finally got the car to idle on its own, but now it dies 30-45 seconds after getting started. I personally don't know enough about tuning to figure this out. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. There are so many things that could be causing trouble. Is the vehicle stock? Is this a cold start problem or does it happen when it is warm. Ls1's start in open loop until they warm up then go into closed loop. You may have a closed loop problem. Hard to tell without more information and/or looking at the tune. A good tuner should be able to diagnose why the vehicle is dying by looking at logged perameters as the vehicle dies. Is he using hptuners or efi live? You can try throwing a copy of your logs and tune up on one of the tuning software boards and see what kind of response you get. Or video tape the log on his computer and post it up here. Just too hard to tell without more information.
