Default PO101 code

Installed a Vararam VRB2 coldair intake with the power duct & Velocity stack in April 2013, car ran fine till december when cold weather hit, I've hooked up the computer and found the PO101. on my D.I.C. is registers as 10PCM. I have serious power loss above 4k rpm, car runs fine at takeoff, but limits at around 112mph at 5k rpm. July was running 5k at 145mph and had room to run!
Any advice?????
Thanks

I would start by cleaning the MAF meter and checking hard for any leaks post MAF sensor. Where are you located? A good tune should help also.

Oil, dirt, or debris on maf wire. Clean it with maf cleaner. In addition, check for leaks past the maf sensor. The power duct clamps tends to loosen at times.

This is a common code for a Varraram CAI----The increased airflow beyond stock and more importantly the COLDER intake air temps will pop up this code and pit your car into a"reduced power mode"----It is a FALSE CODE !!! So to get rid of it permanently you need a tuner with either HP Tuners or EFILIVE to delete these false codes---There is NO other way---(varraram never tells you this) but I know from experience-it is common and happens with 90% of their CAI's

Thanks for the reply, I've done several things on this issue, first to clean the MAF (which by it's appearence hadn't been done in 10 yrs)
I finally replaced the MAP and at the same time the Oil pressure switch
since we had to take the intake off to gain access. so far it's been a week and no codes but it does have it's top end back and no code ....YET.
I'm in the process of installing a Magnaflow xpipe and exhaust.
then off to get it Dyno tuned.
Again Thanks to all replys this is a Great place to info!!!
