Been making a lof atap runs lately and have noticed my 2-3 shift points vary from 5600 to 6000rpm (81-87mph). I have an HPP3 and have it set to +1mph right now. It seems like everytime I make a few blasts nailing it from a 60mph roll the 2-3 shift point keeps getting lower. The MAF flow is staying constant and there are no misfires or anything. Only thing I see changing is the trans temp gets a little over 200 (90 degrees out), I never had this happen with my LS1 F-bodies. BTW the 1-2 shift is always at ~6000 rprm no matter what. I'm just curious what tells the trans to upshift and why such a huge variation in 2-3 shift mph/rpm? There has to be more factors involved in an upshift then just MPH to get such a variation I would think.

The current versions of LS1 Edit let you set A4 shifts by to parameters that must be met - both MPH and RPM. These parameters can be set by Normal Mode, Hot Mode, and Performance mode

I set mine at +5mph for the 2-3 shift. The shift completes at at 90mph everytime.
