Hey what's up guys, I wanted to know if resetting codes in the C5 mess with my tune I have ? I constantly reset codes because I don't like having my check engine light. If any of you guys know please let me know I don't want to keep on doing it if it actually messes with my tune.
Thanks

question and a comment.....what codes are you constantly getting? With a tune you shouldn't unless something isn't right!
Resetting codes will not change your tune as mentioned
There are a few exceptions------- When clearing codes you automatically RE-SET all your fuel trims to re-learn again--Normally it will re learn after about 30-50 miles of normal driving----The fuel trims however only affect your P/T fueling UNLESS you have a positive fuel trim---THEN that positive % will be added to your WOT fuel as well as a lean safety-- until they "learn out and are reduced back to "0" or negative----THAT can make your engine run rich at WOT and somewhat lazy
2ndly Some codes will put your car into reduced power mode---and the car will run horribly and only about 30 MPH----Codes that will cause a reduced power mode are usually MAF---or 02 related--
