The older your Powerloader is, the more likely you won't have a problem. The more recent, say maybe this year or late last year, the probability of trouble is much higher. Easiest thing to do in that case is to reflash the PCM as you would with a new one and go from there. Have a look at the service manual's description of PCM R&R.
