Drive Cycle/Not Ready
Will one of those OBD-II scanners, like the little jobbies you use with Torque Pro--will it be able to tell you how many drive cycles you have since clearing codes, and whether or not the computer is reporting as "not ready" for emissions testing purposes? Or is there another easy way to determine whether you're still being reported as "not ready", without having to schlep to the emissions joint? TIA!

Yes mot scanners also report the "readiness " of the drive cycles----Just have to check before you buy----Also is there a particular cycle that won't set on your car ?? If so what if any mods do you have ??

Then there should not be any issues related to set the readiness tests----However depending on how old your car is--assuming that it is a C5 it may be at the most 15 to 9 years old----Typically the readiness tests that won't set with a car of that age are related to the EVAP system----OR the rear cast reporting system---These tests can b very pesky with any car over 10 years old----On a C5 the best way to eliminate them forever is to get a mail order tune for $150 and have them permanently set to ready--Almost always on a car that old those tests report "FALSE" codes anyways--which means that there is really nothing wrong with your car but it's age-----You can spend 100's of $$$ trying to get them to set--but the best route would be to simply tune them OUT !!!
