PCM Learn Details
Does anyone have a technical description of what is occurring during the PCM learn process?
We've all read about the need to drive for x miles after resetting the PCM, but I'd like to understand exactly what is taking place.
"Learning" in a CPU is more likely to be filling a table with derived values. The table must have a finite size, so I'm guessing, for the process to be continual, values are overlaid in some fashion.
All guesses on my part, but it should be thought of as a more concrete process. I just made some LS1Edit updates, understanding the "Learn" process, will help me decide when I should create another AutoTap log to check the results.
