Is the Hypertech worth it?
Is the Hypertech worth it? Or any other options. Only mods I have are Blackwing and Corsa's with their x-pipe on an '01 6 speed.

Well...
It would change your timing, thus giving you more hp & making you faster.
Also...
You would be able to change the temperature your fans turn on,
so you can keep your motor running cooler.
You would be able to change your rev limiter,
so you can shift at a higher rpm.
You would be able to change your top speed limit.
If you ever changed the size of your tires/rim,
you can recalibrate the speedo with it.
Other then that, I don't think much more, but I think it would help,
and give you around 10-15RWHP.

I got my hypertech direct from hypertech $495 to my door. High price but not available in store. I think it is worth it for A4 I gained .54 sec 0-60 was getting 5.03sec 0-60 now 4.45 to 4.49 consistantly. This is mostly due to the high rev shift points and the firm shift increase. either way you want to get your own programer instead of a chip so you can play and see your own results.
P.S. now that I'm running supercharger I cant use this (01-02) hypertech $400 who ever cant wait till store has inventory.
