So I have an old trinity tuner I bought for my Grand Cherokee that I reset to factory before selling it a few years ago. What I am wondering is if I use it on my 2004Z06 will I see any benefit with a canned tune? Thanks for any insight

Well do you have it or did you sell it?
You say you have it then you sold it now you want to use it on your C5.
If you have it then try it out but if you sold it then it's probably not worth buying another one
just to find out if the canned tune is maybe a little crisper.
It worked pretty well in the Jeep. It had the Hemi and i had a custom tune from Hemifever. Really woke up the trans and had better throttle response. The canned tune helped a litttle but not much.

You can plug it into your computer and do an update. Just go to the Diablo Sport website and do the downloads
for the update. But you should see about the same effect as you did on the Jeep.
How can you expect a handheld tuner made specifically for jeep engines to work on a Chevy LS V8 engine ?? This is a no brainer--NO you cannot tune a LS engine with a Diablo handheld tuner made for Jeep engines

I think
It's made for many vehicles not specifically a Jeep or an LS engine.
They sell it as brand specific GM, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep but
I have a Jeep and a Vette and sold my Trinity to a Vette
owner when the Jeep was dynotuned with HP tuners for a SC.
He had no issues with it.
The OP should just try it and see if it will work.
Diablosport will also sell you extra licenses if you want to do more
than 1 vehicle.

Trinity's are not vehicle specific as was suggested above.. they support and have the preloaded tunes on there for all ford, dodge, jeep, GM supported vehicles... the tool knows what vehicle it is and what tunes to provide you to select, based on the VIN number of the vehicle...
Yes the Trinity T1000 you used on your jeep, will absolutely work on your gm vette...

Because the Trinity T1000 is not vehicle/brand specific... the Trinity T1000 has preloaded tunes on it for all supported ford, dodge/chrysler, jeep, GM vehicles... so yes it CAN be used on any of those supported vehicles...
